Client: The Decorative Antiques & Textiles Fair

Project: Branding and website

The brief

The Decorative Antiques & Textiles Fair is the quintessential London design event, showcasing unique European antiques. Offering mid-century to modern textiles; works of art; and antiques, the fair is held three times a year, and hosts 140 European dealers and exhibitors. Genium was tasked with building a website to promote this specialist exhibition, aiming to appeal to discerning customers looking to source rare English and European antiques.

What we did

Using the seasons as an inspiration, the themed website was built around a photoshoot in Battersea Park using objects sourced from exhibitors. The website includes a message blog; an image gallery; a comprehensive exhibitor list, and a free ticket download option. Mobile and tablet friendly, the site is responsive on multiple platforms, and tastefully presents the charming ambience of the event.

The impact

As well as a 100% increase in the Fair’s Twitter following, the first three months of the site’s launch saw a substantial upsurge in page views, unique users and new subscribers. The Fair’s publicity team fed back unequivocal satisfaction at the effective way in which Genium captured the unique essence of the event and transmitted it to their community and customers. Please visit the decorative fair website here.
