Client: Royal Free London NHS Foundation Trust

Project: Welcome Pack

The brief

Following the acquisition of Barnet and Chase Farm Hospitals NHS Trust, by the Royal Free London NHS Foundation Trust, we were asked to create a set of three handbooks tailored for existing Royal Free, Barnet and Chase Farm staff and new staff. The booklets needed to contain information to help staff find further details about any changes that would be affecting them and to help familiarise themselves with the organisation and their job.

What we did

Using the new brand we created for the expanded organisation, we created a distinct set of booklets. The designs created gave the organisation a cohesive identity with the use of iconography and imagery.

The impact

The hand books were extremely well received and helped support a major new chapter in one of the UK’s biggest trusts with about 10,000 staff who deliver care to more than 1.6 million patients each year through three main hospitals: Barnet, Chase Farm and the Royal Free.

‘Thank you so much for all of your hard work on this, we all think it looks fantastic. We’re really pleased and I know it has been a bit of a hard slog!’
